Camp Gencheff
March 2013 - October 2020
Chaired the board of directors and oversaw the day to day operations for this non profit that provides summer camps and respite to people with intellectual and physical disabilities. Managed major renovation projects, acted as lead grant writer, developed and implemented engagement and fundraising strategies to enhance and grow funds that secured over $500,000 in donations​.
100 Women Who Care, member
Joyriders

Brings together 100 (or more) women in PEI who care about local community causes and who have a desire to contribute to a better community​. The members listen to three compelling presentations from nominated charities, jointly select a local charity or non-for-profit organization (nominated ahead of time). The members donate a $100 to the selected organization and witness how four times a year the collective donations significantly impact the chosen charities and the work they do to serve Island communities.
Board of Director and volunteered in the programs that Joyriders delivered. The Joyriders is an accredited centre of the Canadian Therapeutic Riding Association (CanTRA) and its instructors are all CanTRA-certified. CanTRA is the national standard-setting body for therapeutic riding in Canada. The principal tasks of the board are advocacy and facilitation for the program, and fund-raising to help meet the program's operating and equipment needs.
